'Shift Connection' was a month-long art experience above the record store, Catalog Music, Fortitude Valley in November 2021.

 

The tea lounge was attuned for the senses, inspired by analog systems like listening to music on vinyl, taking time and courage to use the art supplies or selecting books and publications to read for some quiet time.

A device-free connection lounge imbued with amber light, a hero scent of vetiver to relieve stress, and a range of tastes by local tea company, Tour de Tea. This experience was designed to bring guests into a state of presence and calm.

The tea lounge concept is a setting that can be applied to a range of spaces to support council and education initiatives, offering an alcohol-free space for connection and creativity.
